Title: Kingston KC300 Firmware Update
Post by: dmathison on May 12, 2016, 01:30:59 PM
If you need to update the firmware for your Kingston KC300 SSD start by downloading the .zip file from this link (https://support.bytespeed.com/index.php/s/OCEDU4dmcahZuQy).
Once that is downloaded you can run the .exe file which will install the Kingston SSD software, and after that is completed launch the newly installed utility.
If you need a firmware update, your Kingston SSD Manager should look like this:

Run this update, it should only take a second or so. Once that is finished, your Kingston SSD Manager should now look like this:

After update is complete you can either keep the software installed or uninstall the software. This applies to the KC300 60GB, 120GB, 240GB, and 480GB.
